Wednesday December 6th has begun the Mysty Storytelling Workshop. The participants are young people from Guinea and Gambia.
During these three meeting, participants are coached regarding the intercultural skills and of creating digital stories: the use of words, tone of voice, and other factors for effective communication.
Digital Storytelling Workshop offers a safe and supportive environment where young people can reflect on their immigration experience and shape their own story. These personal experiences of migration provide an important learning resource for present and future generations.
During the activities, the participants were asked to bring photos from their families and communities, which thus represent more directly their identities. The workshop reinforces the dialogue between them and their parents about positive aspects of their past.
